BAYRY - Bayer hires GSK exec Frenkl to lead oncology development unit

Bayer (OTCPK:BAYZF) has named Tara Frenkl as the new head of oncology development at its oncology strategic business unit beginning April 25. Frenkl was SVP, head of medicine development leaders in oncology at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Prior to GSK, Frenkl spent 13 years at Merck (MRK). Frenkl is the second oncology exec Bayer (OTCPK:BAYRY) has taken from GSK (GSK). Christine Roth joined the German pharma as  head of the oncology strategic business unit on March 1.
