BLI - Berkeley Lights stock tanks 6% after 2022 revenue forecast comes below expectations

• Berkeley Lights ( NASDAQ: BLI ) -6.4% aftermarket said Monday it expects total revenue for 2022 between $78.0 million to $78.5 million.
• The Seeking Alpha consensus for 2022 revenue is $89.3 million.
• The company said in the fourth quarter, it faced a tight macroeconomic environment with elongated sales cycles and constrained capital budgets.

• "Results were lower-than-expected due to a delay in several Beacon platform placements, which are now expected in 2023, and lower revenue from partnership and services contracts," the company said.
