September will not be a month to remember for the Dividend Aristocrats. The ProShares S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats ETF ( NOBL ) finished the month with a loss of 1.68%. Meanwhile, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF ( SPY ) posted a very nice gain of 3.56%, increasing its lead year-to-date.
