BIGC - BigCommerce announces European expansion

Melpomenem/iStock via Getty Images BigCommerce (BIGC) has expanded its European presence from the U.K. into the Netherlands, France, and Italy. BigCommerce will create new roles to work directly with area merchants, who will be able to interact with the platform in their local language. The company opened its first EMEA regional office in London in 2018. BigCommerce went public in August 2020 and benefitted from the pandemic-driven boom for online shopping.
