BA - Boeing 737 Max jets start flying again in Mexico
Aeromexico (GRPAQ) is flying Boeing 737 Max aircraft again after pilots underwent training, according to a statement by the company. Aeromexico says it coordinated with Boeing ([[BA]] -0.3%) and the Federal Civil Aviation Agency of Mexico on all the necessary procedures and tests to add the aircraft back into operations. The carrier has six Max aircraft and plans to use them domestically in the first phase of the restart. Aeromexico will resume operations of the aircraft on the Mexico City-Cancun route, and gradually add other destinations such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Tijuana aligned with the airline's network planning strategy. Aeromexico is on the early end of the Boeing 737 Max return timeline.
