TDG - Boeing Heico rated Buy in new aerospace coverage at Stifel

Boeing ( NYSE: BA ), Heico ( NYSE: HEI ), AAR ( NYSE: AIR ) and Hexcel ( NYSE: HXL ) were rated Buy in new research coverage by analysts at financial-services company Stifel. They also rated TransDigm Group ( NYSE: TDG ) and Spirit AeroSystems ( NYSE: SPR ) as Hold.
“New aircraft production now has a greater likelihood of improving than getting worse, making us favor original equipment manufacturers/suppliers as profitability and free cash flow generation march back toward pre-pandemic levels,” Bert Subin, analyst at Stifel, said in a November 30 report. “Conversely, companies with higher aftermarket exposure tend to perform best early in the cycle, as used aircraft are run harder and demand for parts and services spikes.”
