PTON - BofA eyes FANG-heavy catalysts in Internet sector for rest of '21
BofA's collection of several dozen catalysts for Internet companies in the second half covers a gamut of events at the industry and company level - and there's no shortage of catalysts for the very biggest companies in the sector, the heavily scrutinized FANG stocks. Take Google/Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), for example: The company is set to roll out Android 12, the latest version of its dominant mobile operating system, and it's got more milestones ahead on its steady progress at Google Cloud (with a key conference on the calendar) and autonomous-driving unit Waymo. It also may be facing the brunt of the recent escalation in regulatory activity, lately on its Play Store app market, BofA notes.
