BDRBF - Bombardier's Indonesian jet deals draw DoJ investigation
Bombardier ([[BDRAF]], [[BDRBF]]) has disclosed that the U.S. Department of Justice has requested information related to its deals with an Indonesian airline, which already were under investigation by U.K. authorities for alleged bribery and corruption.The company said it received a DoJ request in February regarding transactions with the Indonesian carrier, including the acquisition and lease of Bombardier CRJ1000 aircraft in 2011-12.Bombardier CEO Eric Martel said after the company's annual meeting yesterday that the company's internal review of the matter so far found nothing on the alleged malfeasance.In November, the U.K. Serious Fraud Office launched a probe of the company over alleged bribery and corruption in the Indonesian transactions.
