BDRBF - Bombardier skies on winning $452M deal for 10 business jets

Bombardier ([[BDRAF]] +18.6%) shares surge as much as 30% after the company said late yesterday that it received a firm order for 10 aircraft from an unnamed existing customer.The agreement represents a total value of US$451.8M, according to current list prices, the company's largest YTD order for business jets.The order "unlocks new travel possibilities amid a growing demand for business aviation," Bombardier says.Bombardier's U.S. shares are strong, but Canadian trading is closed today for the Canada Day holiday.Two months ago, the U.S. Department of Justice requested information related to Bombardier's deals with an Indonesian airline.
