BDRBF - Bombardier Transportation announces $320M service contract extension
Bombardier Transportation (BDRBF) signs a three-year extension to its train services agreement with Arriva CrossCountry, in the United Kingdom; it includes the option of a further extension of up to one year.The contract extension is valued at $320M (£248M).Under the new agreement, Bombardier will maintain Voyager and Super Voyager fleet for Arriva CrossCountry mainline services until 2023.On another note, Bombardier Aviation announces key leadership appointments at its Biggin Hill service facility in London. Greg Hoggett is appointed GM, Biggin Hill Service Centre. Most recently Hoggett served at AJW Group and has more than 30 years of experience in aviation. These news appointments come on the heels of Bombardier’s plans for enhanced service capabilities and infrastructures including the establishment of a wholly-owned service centre in Berlin following agreements with Lufthansa Technik and ExecuJet Aviation Group. The Biggin Hill facility's expansion is expected to be completed in 2022.
