In Part 1 of this series, written Labor Day, I noted that by the pattern set since the Great Recession, it could well be time for stocks to stop their 1 1/2 year churn and generate alpha versus bonds. Yet, even though bond yields have plummeted in the past 10-11 months, I believed positive-yielding US bonds could still be bought and generate reasonable returns in the years ahead.
