BXBLY - Brambles commits to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040

Logistics company Brambles (OTCPK:BXBLY) has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. The commitments include two main milestones - 2030 mid-term reduction targets recently approved by the Science Based Target Initiative and 2040 long-term net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target. Brambles is set to focus on operations, logistics and direct procurement as the 3 main development areas to achieve the net-zero target. BXBLY had already pledge to a 1.5°C climate future as part of its 2020 five-year sustainability targets. Now, the company is bringing its deadline forward by 10 years. Source: Press Release
