Much has been written about the $572M verdict against Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) on August 26 for its role in the opioid epidemic in Oklahoma. Not much, however, has dissected the actual 42-page ruling by Judge Thad Balkman systematically, which I will attempt to do here.
