FUNFF - Breaking News: FansUnite Announces New March 12 2022 Launch Date of VamosGG Cup
FansUnite Entertainment Inc. (OTCQX: FUNFF) (CSE: FANS) (“FansUnite” or the “Company”), announced today that Saturday, March 12, 2022 will be the new launch date of the VamosGG Cup, a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (“CS:GO”) tournament featuring gamers, streamers and influencers.
Following the successful partnership with Brazil’s largest gaming streamer, Gaules that saw VamosGG set registration and time-on-site records, FansUnite’s Brazilian esports wagering platform established the VamosGG Cup. 1 The two-day event, featuring some of Brazil’s most popular streamers as captains and competitors, positions VamosGG to increase brand exposure, attract new followers and register more new players.
The tournament was initially set to begin on March 5, 2022 but was rescheduled due to the upcoming CS:GO Major South American qualifiers which will take place on the same day.
Overview of VamosGG Cup
Participants: Four teams will compete for the title. Each team has a designated captain that will select four more players to round out their five-person teams, for a total of 20 players participating.
Format: The teams will compete against each other on a CS:GO game map that will be created exclusively for the VamosGG Cup. Organized in best-of-three matches, the Cup will have its semi-finals on Saturday and the grand final will take place on Sunday, right after the match for third place. Games start at 2:00 PM local time. Everyone receives a cash prize according to their final placement.
Broadcast/streaming : The tournament will be streamed live on the four captains’ Twitch and social media channels. Team captains Henrique “Hen1” Teles, Gustavo “Zaph” Santiago, Isadora “Isa” Sudati and Kevyn “Balerostyle” Guedes are elite CS:GO competitors with a combined social media reach of over one million followers.
