BCOV - Brightcove +13% after best-ever sales in Q3

Brightcove (BCOV) has jumped 13% after hours following its Q3 earnings beat, with help from a fast-growing services revenue stream. Revenues overall rose 3.5% to $49.08M, and the company swung to an operating gain of $1.26M from a year-ago loss of $2.36M. “Brightcove’s momentum continued in the third quarter with revenue and profitability that were well ahead of expectations," says CEO Jeff Ray. "Our sales performance, which was the strongest in our history, is evidence that the use of video as a primary tool for connecting and communicating is stronger than ever."
