BKD - Brookdale Senior Living updates preliminary Q1 2023 guidance shares add 10% after hours

- Brookdale Senior Living ( NYSE: BKD ) on Monday announced improved preliminary Q1 2023 expectations and reported its occupancy for March.
- Shares of the company jumped 10.1% to $3.28 after hours.
- BKD said it expects Q1 2023 Y/Y RevPAR growth of about 12.9%.
- The company said, compared to its original Q1 2023 guidance, it now expects Q1 2023 adj. EBITDA along with total revenue and other operating income to exceed previous expectations.
- Meanwhile, BKD said its March weighted average occupancy was 76.1%, an increase of 250 basis points Y/Y compared to 73.6% in 2022.
