Brookfield Infrastructure Partners (BIP) says it has made an offer to acquire Canada's Inter Pipeline (IPPLF) for C$13.5B (US$10.63B).Under the deal terms, each Inter Pipeline shareholder will have the ability to elect to receive C$16.50/share in cash or 0.206 of a Brookfield Infrastructure class A exchangeable share.Brookfield is the largest Inter Pipeline shareholder, owning 19.65% of all issued and outstanding shares.
