BBU - Brookfield to buy Modulaire Group in $5B deal

Brookfield Business Partners ([[BBU]], [[BAM]]) agrees to acquire Modulaire Group, a European designer of modular work spaces backed by P-E firm TDR Capital, in a deal that values the company at ~$5B.The purchase is one of the biggest private equity deals in Europe this year, according to Bloomberg.Brookfield says its investment will be funded with ~$1.6B of equity, and it intends to fund $500M, with the remainder to be funded by institutional partners.Brookfield Asset Management is growing rapidly as the demand for alternative assets continues to soar, Samuel Smith writes in a bullish analysis posted recently on Seeking Alpha.
