BFI - BurgerFi stock jumps after Martha Stewart joins board

BurgerFi International ([[BFI]] +1.7%) stock surged as much as 6.6% in early trading after Martha Stewart joins the burger chain's board then goes on TV to talk up the company.Style and food guru Stewart said she'll help the company to "increase its menu offerings and help with the design of its growing number of stores."She becomes chair of the board's product & innovation committee.BurgerFi went public in December after being acquired by SPAC OPES Acquisition. BFI shares' recent price of $15.04 is only up slightly from its $15.00 open on Dec. 17, the first day of trading after the two entities merged.
