Business First Bancshares ( NASDAQ: BFST ) on Wednesday announced an underwritten public stock offering for expected net proceeds of up to ~$46.75M.
The offering would consist of 2.5M common shares at a public offering price of $20/share, BFST said in a statement .
The company plans to use the proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.
BFST expects the offering to close on or around Oct. 17.
Business First Bancshares ( BFST ) stock -4.5% to $21 after hours.
