CPE - Callon Petroleum to bring on Russell Parker as new chief operating officer

Callon Petroleum ( NYSE: CPE ) on Thursday said it had appointed Russell Parker to serve as chief operating officer, succeeding Jeff Balmer.
Parker will join CPE in late June, the company said in a statement .
According to CPE, Parker has more than 20 years of experience serving in public and private energy companies. He most recently served as CEO of EP Energy.
