VKIN - Camber and Viking resolve certain accounting issues to continue merger talks

- Viking Energy ( OTCQB:VKIN ) and Camber Energy ( NYSE: CEI ) said Monday the companies have resolved Camber's certain legacy accounting issues to resume its negotiations on the previously announced merger agreement.
- Given the lapse of time since the date of the merger agreement, Camber and Viking intend that certain terms will need to be modified by the parties to proceed with the merger.
- The board of directors of each of Camber and Viking authorized, among other things, that each company re-engage separate, independent valuation firms, engage legal counsel and other professionals to amend or modify the merger agreement.
