CAN - Canaan gains pre-market following new CFO appointment

Technology company Canaan (NASDAQ:CAN) is trading higher pre-market following the appointment of James Jin Cheng as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to this appointment, Cheng  served as a Vice President for career platform Zhaopin.com. He will take the role immediately and support the company as its launched into its new growth cycle. In connection with the appointment, Tong He will step down as acting CFO, but will continue in his position as the company's Director of Finance. Shares up 3.92% pre-market
