CSIQ - Canadian Solar expands supply deal with Aypa Power for Texas storage project

Canadian Solar said Wednesday it will supply 363 MWh of battery energy products to an Aypa Power storage project in Texas, with the project expected to reach commercial operation by Q2 2024.

The new supply agreement expands CSI Energy Storage's partnership with Aypa Power, after the companies announced in February they had executed a contract for 487 MWh of energy storage products to support Aypa Power's Cald project in California.

With the latest deal, Canadian Solar ( NASDAQ: CSIQ ) said it will be servicing Aypa Power with a total of 850 MWh of battery energy storage.
