CPXWF - Capital Power to provide clean energy to Shaw's Alberta operations for 15 years
- Capital Power ( OTCPK:CPXWF ) (TSX: CPX) said Tuesday it entered into a 15-year agreement with Shaw Communications ( SJR ) to provide renewable energy for its Alberta operations.
- Under agreement, Shaw will purchase about 30 megawatts of renewable energy from the Clydesdale Solar facility.
- Combined with a previously announced virtual power purchase agreement, the Clydesdale Solar facility’s capacity is now about 90% contracted over a 15-year term, Capital Power said.
