Capital Product Partners LP (CPLP) was an income-focused shipping company with primary exposure to product tankers on medium-term contracts and containerships on long-term contracts. They recently announced a unique transaction to split-off their more spot-focused assets into a merger with Wilbur Ross-backed Diamond S shipping (DSSI).
