DB Crude Oil Long Exchange Traded Notes due June 1 2038
Two weeks ago, I wrote an article in which I argued that even though the crude fundamentals were bullish, the technical and statistical factors suggested that an immediate pullback was in the cards. I normally don’t get that lucky in my timing, but since then, the price of WTI is off about 5% in a fairly smooth drawdown. In this article, I will now argue the opposite thesis. I believe investors should consider reversing the trade and buying the companion leveraged ETF, the United States 3x Oil Fund (USOU).
