• Several industrial carbon captures projects will be announced this year.  The CO2 captured from plants will replace naturally sourced CO2.
• The addressable market for CCUS in the US is massive and will require a huge new buildout, but the sizable upfront costs will make this a slow process.
• Players like Denbury and Kinder Morgan who have large CO2 operations will lead the charge by using existing infrastructure.
• The majority of the CO2 will be used in enhanced oil recovery until sequestrations sites can be permitted and developed to handle additional volumes.
