• Low carbon emissions concrete, steel, titanium, etc. are coming; these provide competing investment opportunities to CCS.
• Limited evidence of actual CCS currently (is the CO2 really captured?) and lots of hype.
• Limited options for investment in pure CCS opportunities and lots of intentions from big oil and gas.
• Slim pickings for investors in CCS and need for caution both about feasibility and need, as low carbon solutions are emerging in traditionally emissions-intensive industries.
