Carter Bank ([[CARE]] +1.0%) entered into an agreement with Pendleton Community Bank regarding the sale of three Carter Bank branches in Staunton, Harrisonburg, and Bridgewater to Pendleton Community Bank.Under the pact, the three branches will expand Pendleton Community Bank's footprint to a total of five branches in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, along with eight branches serving West Virginia.The agreement is scheduled to complete in the second quarter of 2021.
