OTGLY - CD Projekt shoots down rumors of takeover by Sony

• Polish videogame builder CD Projekt ( OTCPK:OTGLY ) ( OTCPK:OTGLF ) is denying chatter that it might be taken over by Sony ( NYSE: SONY ), saying it's "not for sale."
• The company -- known for the game series The Witcher and recent high-profile title Cyberpunk 2077 -- wants to remain independent , co-CEO Adam Kici?ski says.
• Talk of a Sony takeover is "pure rumor," he said in the company's earnings call.
• The rumor took hold on Twitter over the long weekend but "Nothing has changed in our end. So, I can repeat what we have been saying throughout the years – CD Projekt is not for sale," Kici?ski said.
• The company is still working on The Witcher 4 as well as the Phantom Liberty downloadable content for Cyberpunk 2077.
