BX - Celsius Holdings is added to the S&P MidCap 400
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Celsius Holdings current S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Celsius Holdings Inc. ( NASDAQ: CELH ) will replace American Campus Communities Inc. ( ACC ) in the S&P MidCap 400. The decision follows Blackstone Inc. acquiring American Campus Communities in a transaction expected to be completed shortly pending final conditions.
Consequently, Clearfield Inc. ( CLFD ) will replace Celsius Holdings ( CELH ) in the S&P SmallCap 600.
The index changes will become effective prior to the opening of trading on August 10.
Earlier this month, Celsius Holdings ( CELH ) rallied after Pepsi ( PEP ) took a 8.5% stake in the beverage company.
