CGAU - Centerra gold appoints Paul Chawrun as COO

• Centerra Gold ( NYSE: CGAU ) announced on Wednesday that Paul Chawrun will be appointed as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 6.
• Chawrun's , who has worked as a mining engineer for over 30 years, was previously a COO of Teranga Gold Corporation, prior to its acquisition by Endeavour Mining.
• "We very much look forward to Paul helping the Company move forward with a renewed focus on our core operations, the Mount Milligan Mine and the Öksüt Mine.
