BALY - Century Casinos and Golden Entertainment lead casino sector after strong earnings

Century Casinos (CNTY +14.4%) shoots higher after blasting past estimates with its Q2 earnings report. Revenue was sharply higher in the U.S., Canada and Poland segments against the soft pandemic comparable from a year ago. The casino operator churned up a record adjusted EBITDA tally of $25.2M with a consolidated Adjusted EBITDA margin of 27.4% "We continue to have a strong balance sheet and no substantial debt maturities before 2026," notes the company's co-CEOs. Sector watch: Golden Entertainment (GDEN +8.6%) is also higher after a strong earnings beat with total casino adjusted EBITDA margin at a sizzling 46%. Bally's (BALY +2.4%) and Full House Resorts (FLL +4.3%) are also having strong days. Century Casinos has the third highest year-to-date share price gain in the casino and resorts sector, but still trades with a Very Bullish Seeking Alpha Quant Rating.
