Cerrado Gold ( OTCQX:CRDOF ) today is a classic micro-cap gold sector player - they have one operating mine, which is generating revenue, and two projects in the development phase, which at the moment require capital. Although the company is not at the edge of bankruptcy, its balance is looking fragile to me, and its financial situation requires some attention. If we look at the latest numbers ( Q2 2025 ), Cerrado had around $5.7 million in cash, when at the same time short-term liabilities amounted to almost nine times higher than cash if we take out offtake payable; if not, then almost twenty-three times. Although offtake payables are contractual items, they artificially inflate both assets and liabilities. This means that the working capital deficit was above $24 million, quite a signal, if you ask me, that without additional financial injections or better operation results, the company might not survive on its own cash flows....
