MTRX - Chart Industries and Matrix Service collaborate to standardise hydrogen in North American market

Chart Industries (GTLS) signs memorandum of understanding with Matrix Service (MTRX) to establish standardised, price competitive hydrogen solutions in North America. This MOU builds upon the hydrogen strategy of both companies utilizing Chart’s expansive hydrogen equipment and liquefaction offerings and Matrix' cryogenic storage tanks and terminals.Chart’s hydrogen equipment orders for 2020 were over $38M, leading specialty market orders of $283.6M (+16.2% Y/Y); to note, 60% of the total hydrogen equipment orders were received in Q4 including a first of a kind order for its custom vacuum insulated pipe for multiple liquid hydrogen storage systems."Matrix also brings access to larger scale commercial opportunities for Chart equipment in North America," says Chart’s CEO and President Jill Evanko. GTLS up 1.17%; MTRX up 23.63% AH.
