LNG - Cheniere Korea Southern Power sign long-term LNG supply deal

Cheniere Energy ( NYSE: LNG ) ( CQP ) said Tuesday it entered into a long-term liquefied natural gas sale and purchase agreement with Korea Southern Power.
Kospo will purchase 400K metric tons/year of LNG from Cheniere ( LNG ) ( CQP ) on a delivered ex-ship basis during 2027-46, with a smaller annual quantity to be delivered starting in 2024.
The volumes associated with the SPA during 2028-46 are subject to a positive final investment decision on the first train of the Sabine Pass liquefaction expansion project, which is planned to include up to three trains with a total production capacity of ~20 mt/year of LNG.
