CHS - Chico's FAS reloads buyback program with $100M worth of firepower

Chico's FAS ( NYSE: CHS ) announced that its board of directors approved a new share repurchase program for the purchase of up to $100M worth of the company's common stock.
Chico's ( CHS ) canceled the remainder of its $300M share repurchase program, which was announced in November of 2015. The retailer had completed all but $35.4M of the old share repurchase authorization.
The market cap on Chico's FAS( CHS ) stands at just under $652M.
Shares of Chico's FAS ( CHS ) rose 0.47% on the day.
