CLEU - China Liberal Education scraps AIWAYS acquisition

• China Liberal Education ( NASDAQ: CLEU ) said Tuesday it terminated its acquisition of new energy vehicle brand AIWAYS by sending written notice to AIWAYS.
• The termination was effective from April 30.
• "Although the proposed business combination with AIWAYS did not come to fruition, our strategic plan offers a clear roadmap for future growth, and we will capitalize on promising opportunities ahead," said China Liberal ( CLEU ) CEO Ngai Ngai Lam.
• Late last year, China Liberal ( CLEU ) had said it would acquire new energy vehicle brand AIWAYS.
