IPHI - Chinese asking for third party input in review of Marvell's Inphi deal - report
China's antitrust regulatory is asking third parties to give input on Marvell's (MRVL) planned purchase of Inphi (IPHI), according to a report.China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) started its process around the Chinese New Year, according to Dealreporter.This deal is the only one the agency is currently asking for comments. Other semiconductor transaction the agency may review include AMD's (AMD) purchase of Xilinx (XLNX) and Analog Devices (ADI) planed acquisition of Maxim Integrated (MXIM).Recall Jan. 19, Cisco's planned Acacia Communications acquisition approved by China.
