CI Financial (CIFAF) to acquire majority ownership of RGT, a Dallas-based registered investment advisor with ~$4.7B in wealth assets, for cash and CI shares. Upon completion of all previously announced RIA transactions, including RGT, the company's total U.S. wealth assets are expected to reach ~US$21B, boosting CI’s total North American wealth management assets to approximately $68B and total assets to approximately $164B.
