CIR - Circor sales process sees interest for partial full sale - report

- Circor International's ( NYSE: CIR ) sales process is seeing interest for the entire maker of flow and motion control products and parts of the company.
- The Circor ( CIR ) auction is in the second round and the company expects to get refreshed offers early next month, according to a Dealreporter item from Tuesday, which cited people familiar. Private equity has shown more interest in the company than strategic buyers and interest in parts of the company is more robust from strategic players.
- The update comes after Dealreporter in February said that Circor ( CIR ) started a sales process. Last March the company announced it was reviewing strategic alternatives , including a possible sale of some assets or the entire company.
- TransDigm ( TDG ) is one of the companies that has shown interest in the aerospace/defense business of Circor ( CIR ), according to the latest Dealreporter item.
- Circor ( CIR ) is set to report Q1 results next Thursday.
