ATHM - Citi ups Autohome target to $41 opens 'positive catalyst watch'
Citi analyst Brian Gong raised the firm's price target on Autohome (ATHM) to $41 from $33 and reiterates a Buy rating on the shares. The analyst also opened a "90-day positive catalyst watch" on the shares citing a "stronger recovery trajectory ahead with better visibility." With a normalizing auto supply chain and stimulus policies from both central and local governments Autohome should see a stronger auto sales recovery trends and enhanced confidence on its new car models launches from car makers. If major offline auto shows like Guangzhou and Beijing can be hosted in the second half of 2022, the analyst sees additional upside to his increased estimates. Autohome's SA Quant Rating stands with a Hold whereas, Wall St. Analysts Rating says to Buy (4 Very Bullish, 1 Bullish, Bearish 2). Since the start of 2022, Autohome shares were up around 25%, and over a period of one year, shares were down around 40%. Shares are currently up ~6.19% to $38.28 today.
