DOCRF - CloudMD closes acquisition of Canadian Medical Directory

Telehealth company CloudMD Software & Services (DOCRF) announces that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of Canadian Medical Directory, Canada’s largest, directory of medical professionals.As part of the deal, CloudMD will be able to integrate Canadian Medical's database into its Juno EMR, billing, virtual care and telehealth platforms, as well as iMD Health’s leading educational resource databankCloudMD currently services a combined ecosystem of over 500 clinics, almost 4000 licensed practitioners and 8 million patient charts across North America, while Canadian Medical is Canada’s leading source for profile and contact information on practicing physicians, specialists and nurse practitioners.CloudMD entered into a Binding Term Sheet to acquire the Canadian Medical Directory for a total consideration of $1.95M, in October last year.
