CCMP - CMC Materials stockholders approve merger with Entegris

CMC Materials (NASDAQ:CCMP) has received stockholder approval on its merger deal with materials science firm Entegris (NASDAQ:ENTG). As previously announced, Entegris plans to acquire CMC Materials in a cash and stock transaction with an enterprise value of ~$6.5B. The merger agreement proposal was approved by ~84% of the outstanding shares of CMC Materials common stock entitled to vote at the special meeting of stockholders. The transaction is expected to close in H222.
