CNS - Cohen & Steers logs 3% rise in June AUM thanks to net inflows market strength

- Cohen & Steers ( NYSE: CNS ) said Tuesday its assets under management rose to $80.4B at the end of June, from $77.9M at end-May, thanks to net inflows of $36M and market appreciation of $2.9B, partially offset by distributions of $391M.
- Institutional accounts AUM came in at $33.3B at June 30, compared with 32.1B at May 31.
- Open-end funds AUM was $36.2B vs. $35.1B in the prior month, and closed-end funds AUM of $10.9B advanced from $10.7B.
- By contrast, the company's AUM dipped 3.8% in May, hurt by market depreciation and net outflows.
