MKSI - Coherent asking for MKS II-VI to submit bids next week Bloomberg says

Coherent (COHR) is asking bidders MKS Instruments (MKSI) and II-VI (IIVI) to submit final bids by late next week, according to a Bloomberg report.MKS and II-VI are competing with Lumentum, which already inked a definitive deal with Coherent last month.No guarantee that MSKI or II-VI will submit a revised bid.Recall Feb. 16, Coherent, II-VI will discuss $6.5 billion acquisition offer.Recall Feb. 13,  II-VI joins Coherent's rare bidding war, which faces antitrust hurdles.
