CLNY - Colony Capital will rebrand to DigitalBridge Group

Mikhail Konoplev/iStock via Getty Images Reflecting its pivot to digital infrastructure and investments, Colony Capital (CLNY) will rebrand to DigitalBridge, while its digital infrastructure investment platform, Digital Colony, will also operate under the new name. The corporate name will be changed to DigitalBridge Group and it will trade under NYSE ticker symbol, DBRG, as of June 22. The idea behind DigitalBridge came from its 2019 acquisition of Digital Bridge, a  digital infrastructure company. "We are on track to rotate $100B in AUM from diversified to digital and are now 80% rotated on a pro forma basis, following our agreement, announced yesterday, to divest the bulk of our Other Equity & Debt business for over half-billion dollars," said Marc Ganzi, president and CEO of Colony Capital and Digital Colony CEO.
