CRZBY - Commerzbank meets profit criteria to join DAX Germany index
- Commerzbank ( OTCPK:CRZBF ) ( OTCPK:CRZBY ) has satisfied a profit requirement to become a member of the DAX Germany index ( DAX:IND ), which is comprised of the 40 major blue-chip firms trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, it said Monday in a release.
- The German lender, which was kicked out of the DAX index ( DAX:IND ) in 2018, posted EBITDA of €3,371M (US$3.66B) in 2022. That marked the second straight year in which the bank turned in positive EBITDA.
- "We have decided to disclose Commerzbank's EBITDA for the 2022 year already now, in order to enable Deutsche Börse Group to consider us as a successor candidate for Linde in the DAX 40," said Commerzbank CFO Bettina Orlopp.
- The bank is set to publish its 2022 results on Feb. 16.
