JCS - Communications Systems to merger with Pineapple Energy

Communications Systems (NASDAQ:JCS) enters merger agreement with privately held Pineapple Energy, a growing U.S. operator and consolidator of residential solar, battery storage, and grid services solutions. The companies to extend the merger date from August 31, 2021 to March 31, 2022. There are binding agreements for at least $32M in cash from the equity offering. Company also completed the sale of its real estate located in Hector, Minnesota for $900,000.
